Reviews
I've been to several ramen places in SLC, but Yoko Ramen is fantasic. Honestly it's the best I've had. The chicken was perfectly crispy and seasoned. I'll definitely be back.
Drools on phone while typing my review🤤
It's hard to come up with words for how this food tastes when it hits your tongue. It's an explosion flavor bang. The chicken is crispy and cooked to perfection, be sure to add the seasonal veggies ( different each time) and an extra egg. I am literally drooling as I type this. Nothing but five stars and above every time. I stop to give the kitchen a standing ovation each time I leave. I've never had ramen like this. I think about it. I dream about it. I want to find the owner and kiss their cheeks for opening this establishment! This is probably my favorite food in all of Utah!! 🍜
I love this place :) Having been to Japan and had the most delicious ramen there, I give Yoko’s props for having the best ramen I’ve had so far in the state of Utah. The service is fast, the “char-shu” ramen is delicious (I always order extra), and I love going to Yoko’s after a long workday.
I really love the vibe of this place, it’s a cute place located in a lowkey area, the woman that greeted us didn’t really seem to want to be there, which is what took away from the experience, but the ramen was delicious (I ordered the pork shoyu) and the decorations were super aesthetic. I would come back to eat again, hopefully with a different experience next time!
The ramen was ok (too much of a charred taste and not enough flavor in the broth) but the service was horrible. When we went to order the attendant was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to be there or talk to us at all. Also the ramen took really long to come out which makes no sense. I won’t be coming back
Ordered my food to go. Rude customer service. My food had apparently been ready for awhile because it was warm and I had to reheat it when I removed it from the bag even though they gave me a pickup time of 30+ minutes from the time I ordered it. The pork ramen was mostly noodles and juice. The little bit of meat and cabbage was at the bottom. The amount of pork I received did not even match to the amount of pork in the pictures on other reviews. Everything tasted greasy. I don't have pictures but I wish I did.
Small, specialized menu — no frills. The chicken karage ramen is always my favorite! The chicken is generous, noodle is thick and chewy, broth is tasty, and the cabbage is crunchy and smoky! Atmosphere is also cute and cozy; I always like sitting by the window.
An experience! I got the Pork Ramen with added burnt ends and fresh garden veggies (including lions mane and shitake mushrooms!) with tasty local brewed soda. Was really loving all the flavors and overall culinary presentation. I felt like it was crafted just for me, so glad there's a place I can go to get some quality Ramen! Savannah was my hostess and did a really great job introducing me to what they had avaliable as well as recommendations. My visit here made my day, hope you enjoy it to! :)
